
Program LIVES Week 4 Recap
This past week saw a slight drop in attendance which turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it allowed us to work 1v1 with one of the program participants. Instead of focusing on the video, which is still in it's planning stages, we were able to really help one of the participants open up to the Tikkun Long Island staff. Program LIVES Week 2 Recap
All participants returned back for group 2. We are currently working on the "I" in Program LIVES, and that is Involvement. The kids have decided for their first project they would like to make a short documentary to share their stories. So after a quick ice breaker called "would you rather" (which stirred up some laughs) we had pizza while brainstorming ideas for their film. The kids will be sharing the film with the community once it is complete. The goals of the project


Program LIVES Week 1 Recap
Tonight's first group session went great!! Judge Marlene Budd shared her story with the group and took some time to help them identify their passions.
For our first project the group will be creating a short documentary allowing the participants to share their stories. We will end the film with what they hope to get out of Program LIVES. Next week will be our first brainstorming session. Stay tuned to this blog. We will be posting updates every Friday with how the group
