January 29, 2015

We are excited to announce that tonight we will be starting Program LIVES this evening!  We have partnered with Hope for Youth to bring our services to their Foster care unit.  On a weekly basis we will be meeting with 5 adolescents in the Foster care program to provide them with vital life skills training, supportive counseling, and a sense of belonging.  Judge Marlene Budd will be coming to speak with the group to remind them that anything is possible, even when circumstances make us think otherwise. Thank you to all who have supported this project and we will be keeping you posted on our progress.

Please stay tuned to our blog which will be updated weekly with recaps of Program LIVES group sessions.

Program LIVES:

Life Skills

Involvement

Values

Education

Success

Program LIVES will work with youth ages 14-17 as they develop crucial life skills necessary to becoming successful adults.  The ultimate goal is to give these children the tools they need to become successful members of society.  Program LIVES will provide youth with a sense of belonging and purpose. We strive to inspire the youth we serve, reminding them that anything is possible despite obstacles along the way.

Help us give kids in foster care the skills and support they need to move forward in life.
